Picking someone to do residential cleaning services is tricky. You want to find someone that is coat effective, but you also want to find someone that is trustworthy. Cleaning persons are hard to find because they are in high demand. This is especially true of reputable cleaning persons. Keep reading to find out how to hire a good cleaning person. 

First things first, ask around to people you know. Chances are good that you know someone that has a cleaning person for their home or business. Ask friends, family members, co-workers, and neighbors. You never know you may even find that someone you know does cleaning on the side. Either way people you know can help you avoid bad cleaning services and they can steer you to reputable cleaning services. 

Narrow your search down to three cleaning services. Compare their rates. You don’t necessarily want to go with the cheapest cleaning person. Find out what you get for the estimate. Ask for references from previous clients. Find out what they use to clean homes. Do they have their own equipment or do they use yours? This can affect the price.

If you are hiring an individual and not a company do a background check. Find out if they have insurance. If you are going with a company do a search of the company to find out if they are reputable. Do they have any negative reviews online? Do they have a good rating with groups like the Better Business Bureau?
