Keep important information off-site. I am sure that you already keep your backups, important documentation, and other businesses-critical information off-site in case of fire or other emergencies. If you have not already prepared your business for a storm, it would be a good time to do it now. A lot of companies depend on their networks cloud to keep their business running, but what happens if you have no internet access due to a power outage? Making backups on USB drives or portable hard drives is a good idea so that your business is not reliant on you being online. Keeping paper copies as well as information on your cell phone may also be a good idea but it is a good idea to talk to an IT professionalon what would work best for your business.
